CELEBRATE LIFE

Over the Ages many incidents have marked the achievement of human beings, giving man a reason to set apart days to celebrate these achievements. But if we look at our surroundings with total awareness and alertness, we will realise that no other being follows this practice. For all other creatures existence itself is a celebration. In the morning birds start singing, with sunrise the light starts breathing, the waves of the ocean are dancing. The whole universe seems to be celebrating something. except man because the human mind creates such misery and illusions around itself that prohibits man front enjoying the beauty of existence.

All other creations of Cod are totally engrossed in their celebration because they move in accordance with the existing force. But the human mind has choice, a choice of being aware and conscious. True that with this choice man makes his life more beautiful in the form of festivals and rituals. These festivals bring in physical and mental happiness but they arc momentary

In every part of the world there are festivals to be celebrated; these festivals bring with them an urge co revivify. People become ready and excited to wear new clothes, to renovate the house, and to replace old things and thoughts with new ones. But soon after the festival has faded away man reverts back to his dreary pat. tem of life  the pattern of submitting to the force of unconsciousness of the mind. That is why many a time we miss out on the joys of nature and the universe. We fail to see pleasures in the simple beauty of nature;

we fail to communicate with this beauty of existence that prevails within and without ourselves.

Festivals free your mind from thoughts of the past or anxiety of the future and you live in the present and you start living every moment of life. Man has to learn to rejoice each moment of life and every aspect of existence. !low can we bring in this celebration, happiness?

First we have to learn to trust, love and respect ourselves; when you do this, you start loving and respecting others. It is human nature to discard that which we do not possess. When our mind is void of love and affection, and we search within ourselves, wordy find emptiness, which drives us to depression. So, our first approach should be towards ourselves. Every morning when you wake up, shower yourself with love and attention and thank existence for giving you the opportunity to stay in this world.

When festivals are around the comer, we are always in a mood to love each other, wish goodness to everybody and spread happiness around us. When you start loving and respecting yourself, the first thing that comes is forgiveness. That is why during festivals each human being feels com passion and affection towards another.

Festivals shed a light of awareness on the human mind and a lot of positive energy is radiated in the form of sharing. We tend to search for happiness out side whereas it exists within us. Every moment of our life should bean endeavor to find happiness. It is up to us to decide whether we want to live in the pattern of celebration or follow patterns of sadness. The past is gone, and the future has not appeared yet and happiness is in the present, and it is for us to make the most of the present.

We pray for our desires to be fulfilled, asking for more, always forgetting to thank existence for what we already have Celebrate whatever existence has endowed on you. Don’t allow yourself to be affected by situations and circumstances. Start thinking and become more aware about your eternal source. Our mind gets easily hypnotized by unreality. But when we are aware we become passive watchers, it does not affect our state of mind or emotions. And we can use these moments for celebration.

When you become more aware naturally you tend to celebrate. Them is nothing in this existence, there is nothing that is not worth celebrating. When you look around yourself, the whole universe is full of celebration. Our mind never looks into itself to see where the fault lies. The problem is our mind does not want to accept these unconscious actions in our life and we don’t want to change this unconscious mood. We want to live in the same patterns of life and we wonder why we are in a gloomy mood.

Every night before you go to bed, inhale and exhale deeply for two minutes and afterwards, take a deep breath and let thoughts of happiness enter and remain in your mind, with this breath; exhale slowly, throwing out all negative thoughts from your mind, as you do so. Start giving compliments to people you know, on their beauty, goodness and truth. Every person is sure to have some element of theses qualities. Purify your thoughts and do things that bring out the goodness and the truthfulness in your life.

We must learn to celebrate our life and our death. If we celebrate in the right way, we will be able to celebrate our ultimate journey of life, which is death. Celebrations come out of your patterns of life.

Each human being has his potential to create more joy and liveliness, passion, affection and love within himself. And this is reflected in his thoughts, attitude and action.

Convey and share your love and affection. When you do this you contribute to the beauty of humanity.

Celebration is an attitude make your life a festival. We can think of thousands of excuses for not celebrating. We need to summon all our will power and fill our minds with happy thoughts. Most often our mind does not want to be happy, it prefers to be a gloomy state and we start blaming our surroundings and circum-stances for our unhappiness.

So make a vow with total awareness to live and grow in festivity. When we live our life as a celebration we have lived it fully.
